1890s: Originally constructed as a free public library and later expanded to include swimming pools and baths.
1940: The building suffered damage during World War II, leading to reconstruction efforts.
1979: Obtained by Markazi Jamiat Ahle-Hadith UK and converted into Green Lane Masjid following the relocation of the library and baths.
2000: Comprehensive renovations transformed the former swimming pools into a large prayer area and added new ritual cleansing facilities and offices.
2008: Green Lane Masjid and Community Centre was established as an independent charity to manage the facility’s operations.
2013: Completion of a major renovation project, enhancing educational and community spaces within the mosque.
2016: Renovations included expanding intermediate entrance lobbies and upgrading ritual cleansing areas to accommodate increased capacity and modern facilities.

Following Qur’an and Sunnah teachings, the Madrasah aims to nurture future role models, instilling a passion for learning, identity, and respect. Emphasizing home-Madrasah collaboration, they offer a comprehensive educational experience.
