UKIM Khizra Masjid, part of the UKIM, is among the oldest Islamic organizations in the UK, founded in 1962. Initially a small group at East London Mosque, it has grown to over 45 branches and 30 mosques across the country, engaging in activities like building mosques, relief work, and youth initiatives.

Education- Khizra Supplementary School

Khizra Mosque Supplementary School, situated in the heart of Manchester, provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students from various ethnic backgrounds. Khizra Mosque Manchester Supplementary School accepts children aged 5-16, with intake in July and additional nursery intake in January. The school operates weekdays from 4:45 pm to 6:45 pm and weekends from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The Khizra Youth Team is hosting a quiz on the lives of Isa, Maryam, Zakariya, and Yahya (a.s) with surprise questions. Join for a chance to win. Ages 6-12.

Arabic Level 1 Course

Arabic Level 1 is open to brothers and sisters aged 16+ who can read the Arabic alphabet and the Quran. The course runs every Sunday from 2:30-4:30 pm for 10 weeks. Course material is provided, and the cost is £50. Spaces are limited, so early registration is required.

Marriage Services

Khizra Mosque Manchester collaborates with Altrincham Marriage Service (AMA) to host weekly marriage introduction meetings. Registration and booking must be completed online at www.marriage.ama-online.org.uk. The website provides full details of the process, and participants can select Khizra Mosque as their preferred meeting location. All introductions are private and held at designated times.
